The optimization design of differential based on fuzzy and failsafe design theory is carried out. The design variables are transverse module
number of teeth
and tooth face width coefficient of loader differential’s bevel gear’s. The objective function is minimum volume of differential. Meanwhile
the degree of reliability of bevel gear’s bending strength
aperture conditions
assembly conditions
and boundary conditions of differential are considered.
