The hydro-mechanical continuously variable transmission is one multi-power flow transmission system. The characters of stepless timing and high efficiency make it appropriate for the high-power vehicle. The optimizations of the planet and transmission ratio is completed by analyzing the fundamental of hydro-mechanical transmission of arithmetic type and the relations among the different parts. A example is given to verify the method and theory proposed.
