A controlling process of NC lapping machines of spiral bevel and hypoid gear is given a brief account of preset lapping
and the setting up progress of its mathematical model is mainly researched and analyzed.Taking use of technology of teeth contact analysis
the lapping way can carry out lapping progress according to given areas by user.Compared with traditional mechanism
the lapping way have a great advantage in control and improvement of mesh areas
machining precision and efficiency.The accuracy of the model is proved by experiments.
