A mathematic model for generative interference checking during internal gear shaving is developed based on space meshing theory

and the relationship between the generative interference and the tooth number difference of internal gear and that of the gear shaver

the angle between the gear axis and that of the shaver and the modification factor of the internal gear is also presented.The model can be used not only as the interference checking for internal gear shaving

but also as an approach for the interference checking of internal gears transmission with their axes interleaved.
