In order to monitor the wear condition of wind turbine gearbox and reduce the costs of maintenance
a technique of the wear condition assessment based on the on- line oil abrasion monitoring is proposed. The sensor for the large aperture oil tube of wind turbines is designed. The intelligent monitoring system which can be used for distributed measurements of wear condition is developed for every wind turbine gearbox and every wind power station. The experiment results show that the production have the advantages of high sensitivity
strong anti- interference ability
and high accuracy of abrasion detection
and it can be used for actual application of the oil abrasion monitoring for wind turbine gearbox.
