Aiming at the operating characteristic of the highway-railway electric tractor
a compact driving-steering system is designed and the structure of the transmission between the motor and the wheels is designed based on the analysis of the character of tractor driving and steering.A mathematical model with the target function of minimizing the volume is established and the theoretical basis for the construal parameters of design and improvement is provided.By comparing the results between the initial and optimized data by analyzing an instance
the volume is reduced by 44.357% and it would run more steadily because of the modulus reducing and the number of tooth increasing after optimized.The optimal effect is achieved and the feasibility of this structure design and optimization is verified.
