Taking the planetary gear low speed stage in an MW wind turbine gearbox as an example to research the planet carrier displacement amplitude and stress nephogram by static analysis and research the effects of planet carrier flexible on inside and outside mesh gears of planetary gear meshing characteristic based on multibody model with flexible carrier.Based on this
gear modification is proposed through orthogonal experiment simulations to alleviate the effect of mesh misalignment caused by planet carrier deformation on gear meshing negative characteristic.Finally
using reliability theory research the effects of random uncertainty of mesh misalignment and micro modification parameters caused by random factors on transmission error fluctuation.Reliability analysis results indicate that the transmission error fluctuation is less sensitive to the random uncertainty of mesh misalignment and modification parameters
the proposed modification strategy can be used to guide the micro modification of planetary gear.
