For the poor stability and easy to wear belts in the process of belt drive
in consideration of the belt material stiffness and damping conditions
by using of numerical methods
the belt drive system dynamics characteristic are studied.The analysis results show that a certain angular speed loss due to the belt creeping over the pulley surface
the contact force of belt and pulley display a decreasing trend in considering friction factors
with the increase of friction factor
the contact force increase
the contact force under different friction factor with the increase of contact angle shows a trend of twin peaks
at different friction factor
the peak contact force occurs at different location.
