The analysis of the double crank-slider crank mechanism with quick-return characteristic is carried out
the relationship between the quick-return characteristic K and the installation angleφis deduced

the kinematics simulation of double crank-slider crank mechanism is carried out.The analysis results show that the stable velocity in working stroke is obtained by the main drive mechanism
the variable quick-return characteristics can meet processing requirements of different tooth width
all of these can improve the processing efficiency and accuracy of CNC gear shaping machine greatly.
