prediction method and control measures are reviewed.The gear whine noise and gear rattle noise mechanism are introduced.The early application and development of experience formula method and FEM-BEM
SEA numerical methods in reducer noise prediction are commented.In the aspect of reducer vibration and noise reduction
the gear parametric option
gearbox structure improvement
damping material application
gear tooth modification and active control method are summarized.The useful theoretical guideline to the design of the gear reducer is provided.Finally
some problems existed are pointed out for further study.
