DFMEA(Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)is a management method in product design applications that can be achieved to control the quality of the products from the design source.Combined with a clutch design development projects of a hybrid car matching clutch as example
the application method of DFMEA is analyzed
and the DFMEA model of clutch cover assembly is established.Using the established DFMEA model
the DFMEA analysis of diaphragm spring in initial design scheme is carried out.It’s the first time for using Risk Matrix and SO in risk assessment
the finite element analysis and improvement of the potential risk of the occurrence of failure mode that the fracture at big end notched separate connection finger hole of the diaphragm spring are carried out
and ultimately through structural improvement
the occurrence of potential failure mode is avoided
which proves that using DFMEA in the product design can effectively prevent the occurrence of potential failure mode.
