In order to improve the influence of screw axial thermal displacement on machine tool machining accuracy
through the study of tribology and heat transfer on the screw feed system
the thermal model of the screw feed system is established.The steady state temperature field and thermal deformation of the screw feed system under the action of thermal sources are discussed by using the finite element method.The screw axial thermal displacement obtained through the simulation experiment is 31. 86μm
and the screw axial thermal displacement of theoretical calculation is 31.74μm
the screw axial deformation measured through the thermal elongation instrument is 31.81μm through.Therefore the correctness of the proposed model is verified
the reference for error compensation of the screw feed system is provided.
