It is mainly based on the meshing principle and local conjugate principle
the theoretical tooth surface equation of gear and pinion of spiral bevel gear and equations of tooth contact analysis considering the installation error are deduced.The conclusions of the tooth contact analysis considering the installation error are obtained by the program with MATLAB
the program is used to analyze the effect on contact area caused by installation error
when three installation errors acted alone and acted together respectively.The results provide a guiding role to the design
production and practical application of the spiral bevel gear.
