The calculation of geometry factor is always an obstacle in the course of strength design of spiral bevel gear.The spiral bevel gear is taken an example
by using Monte Carlo method the distribution of contact strength geometric factor and bending strength geometric factor is simulated
and the test is carried out.The strength of geometric factor is showed to obey the normal distribut ion
the results of calculation are higher ident ical.The sensitivity analysis of the geometric parameters of gears is carried out
the results indicate that the affection of spiral angle is remarkable to the contact strength geometry factor
the influence of the pressure angle is larger on the bending strength geometric factor.
