Based on road tests and virtual prototype simulation
the fatigue life of the dump truck frame under the incentive of the large waveform of road roughness is analyzed and predicted.The pitching angle of the frame
which collected by using gyroscope
can be converted to the large waveform curve of the road.Superimposed with the small waveform curve of road shaped which collected by the acceleration sensor
it can be transformed into the integral road spectrum curve.Based on the finite elementmodel of the dump truck frame and the stress distribution obtained by the inertia release method
the fatigue life of the frame is analyzed by using the HyperWorks/Fatigue.The results show that
the large waveform data has impacts on both distribution and life span of the fatigue danger point.
