Bearing wearing life is closely related with dynamics characteristics of system in which bearing is mounted
so in order to accurately predict wear life of bearing used on planetary gears
a wear life predict ion approach of bearing for planetary gear transmission system based on dynamic model is presented. Firstly
a translationtorsional dynamics model of planetary gear transmission system involving bearing wear is built. Then
a computation model of bearing wearing capacity is established by use of tribology theory
and a prediction model of bearing wear life based on two aforementioned models is established. Finally
the impacts of bearing wear on the bearing dynamic loads and bearing wear life is analyzed
and the methods of improving the bearing wear life is presented. The analysis result indicates there is a more significant impact of the bearing wear on the bearing dynamic loads
and the bearing wear life of a planet is proportional to its st iffness
so the methods
such as the radial clearance compensat ion and axial precompression of a bearing
