A kind of design thought that automatic assembly technology of planetary reducer based on the functional characteristic assembly is put forward

by making full use of the information of geometric model

the representation and matching key technology of characteristics assembly is studied.And using SolidEdge ST5 as development platform

by using VB as tool and its API

the automatic search

recognition and automatic assembly of reducer parts feature are realized.The assembly efficiency in the design process is improved.
