Through the analysis of the principle and disadvantage of the speed change mechanism used in the comber cylinder
a double-linkage double crank mechanism which can realize variable speed rotation is presented.In order to minimize the deviation of angular velocity between actual cylinder mechangsm rotation and technological requirements
geometric parameter of the double-linkage double crank mechanism is solved by using MATLAB optimization toolbox.According to the optimization results
the kinematics simulation model of the double-linkage double crank mechanism is built in ADAMS
the design is checked by the kinematics simulation in which a good result is obtained.
