the study on structure innovation of cylindrical roller bearing is carried out
and a new method of structure design of elastic composite cylindrical roller bearing which embedded PTFE in the hollow cylindrical roller is put forward.Under the low load and heavy load cases
by calculating and determining the best sizes of the three rollers with finite element software
analysis and comparisons of the contact stress
equivalent effective stress and bending stress of the three cylindrical roller bearings are carried out.Results show that
under the low load and heavy load cases
the contact stress and the equivalent effective stress of the elastic composite cylindrical roller bearing are close to those of the hollow cylindrical roller bearing
whereas the bending stress of the elastic composite cylindrical roller bearing is obviously lower than that of the hollow cylindrical roller bearing
with 17.1% lower under the low load case and 27.7% lower under the heavy load case.The carrying capacity of the elastic composite cylindrical roller bearing is better than the solid cylindrical roller bearing and the hollow cylindrical roller bearing.
