In order to improve the reliability and efficiency of the transmission system of mining vehicle
a theoretical analysis and ADAMS kinematics simulation is carried out to the multi-drive shafts model containing rigid universal joint with cross shaft.From the analysis
the angular curve of input shaft
middle articulated shaft and output shaft is educed
and the consequences that the unequal angle of the universal joint will cause the unequal velocity
different speed between two universal joints can be offset by the input and output parallel transmission
and larger angel of the universal joint may lead to transmission failure are proved
so all of these conclusions will provide an effective theoretical basis for design of the transmission system.
