According to the relative motion relationship of the steel ball
the cam and the ball socket of the index plate
the theory computing method of the meshing efficiency for the globoidal indexing cam with steel ball is deduced.By the numerical method
the effect of contact ratio to the meshing efficiency is calculated.The laws of the modified constant speed curve
the modified trapezoid acceleration curve and modified sine acceleration curve are compared
and the effect factors of the meshing efficiency during the indexing circle are obtained.The study result has guiding significance for the design of the transmission mechanism.
