According to the requirements for the mass and the transmission stability of rice transplanter main gear box
a model for multi-objective optimal design of a high-speed transplanter transmission is established with the objectives of the minimum volume of gear set and the maximum total contact ratio of gear pairs in the main transmission.On the basis of design criteria and performance of gear box
the constraint condition is built.Then
the optimal design is carried out by using optimization tool box in MATLAB.The results show that the model is effective with the transmission volume reduced 9.01% and the contact ratio increased 5.85%.
