Elliptic bevel gear is a noncircular bevel gear

a processing method of this kind of gear based on UG is proposed.If the pitch cercle of bevel gear is made to pure rolling on the pitch-line of the non-circular gear

the profile of the bevel gear will generate the profile of the non-circular gear.The mathematic and geometry model of the bevel gear and ellipse gear are set up separately

and then the mathematical simulation of pure rolling is inferred.Finally

the elliptic bevel gear with tooth profile is obtained by the re-development function of UG.
