Torque-splitting transmission can offer smaller size and lighter weight
so it is applied more and more in high-power and high-speed occasions.Compared with single path transmission
structural constraints must be considered in the design because of the existence of virtual constraints in the structure.Besides
the load sharing characteristics of multi-path gear transmission is greatly influenced by different tooth matching schemes. Thus
the research of tooth matching method is very significant to ensure the movement and load sharing behavior of the transmission. For the four-path torque-splitting gear transmission
tooth matching conditions are established and a calculation method is presented in consideration of every path load sharing.A calculation example of a certain power transmission is given
the result shows that tooth matching scheme is obtained by the calculation method can fulfill all matching conditions
and the method has general applicability for other multi-path gear transmissions.
