Spiroid gear transmission is the space cross-axis transmission.The spiroid gear has the complex spatial tooth surface.It’s difficult to calculate and modeling.A new method about gear tooth surface modeling and parametric design is approached

the mathematical modeling principle and the analysis of parametric design modeling process is introduced.According to model modeling by the generation method and using the function of Pro/E powerful parametric design and Pro/Toolkit-the second time developing tool to achieve the design to model for the spiroid gears.The experimental results show that the method can accurately quickly built the spiroid model

simplify the design process and shorten the design cycle which has the very strong practicability.
