bending stress of pinion with tooth root oilhole for speed changer five-speed gears is studied.Using the three-dimensional software Pro/e and Pro/Mechanica
and based on the analysis of the five-speed gears
physical and mechanical model of several pairs tooth contact are built and analyze the distribution of bending stress and the stress around oil hole by each 2° rotation at each contacting moment are analyzed. Finally
through the whole simulation of gear meshing
it can be concluded that the maximum bending stress of the pinion with oilhole is increased by 13.68%
compared with the pinion without oilhole. In point of the form and characteristic of the gear bending fatigue damage
the above result is the same with experimental results.
