Abstract

Planetary gear transmission has many advantages in gear transmission.It is difficult to calculate the transmission ratio of complex planetary gear train is obtained.An idea from the calculation formula of the simplest planetary gear train is got

a formula to calculate the transmission ratio is proposed

there is supposition that the planetary carrier is an inner gear with teeth.The use of the formula is illustrated and the transmission ratio calculation of the complex planetary gear train is simplified.
