The fatigue mechanism of the automobile chain is studied by transfer case silent chain drive assembly bench test

and the chain plate fatigue fracture micrograph is analyzed.The plastic deformation and cyclic hardening characteristic of automobile chain major part are discussed.The results show that fatigue performance is mainly relative with chain plate dimensional uniformity

heat treatment and surface quality of the punch and the measure of improving automobile transfer case silent chain fatigue reliability is provided.
