Heat generation of bearing with shaft is studied based on tribology theory. The heat generation mechanism is analyzed according to working conditions and structural features of bearing with shaft.Computational models of power loss are built. The total heat generation and the local heat generation are gotten. The example of bearing with shaft in a gyroscope motor is made.Influences on total and local heating are analyzed at various rolling velocities of the inner ring and working loads. The results show that bearing rolling velocity and axial load affect heat generation strongly.Meanwhile sliding friction
