To solve the problem of parametric modeling and simulation of gear transmission

the mixed programming of APDL（ANSYS Parametric Design Language） and UIDL（User Interface Development Language） and the multibody dynamic simulation based on finite element method are investigated.A specialized gear modeling and simulation integrated system is developed using an involute gear as our research object.The validity of the simulation result is given according to an example.The presented approaches can serve as rational guidance and proofs for the modeling and simulation of other types of gears and related multibody dynamic problem and the developed system is of strong practical value.
