Referring to the literatures concerning the methods of parametric design of involute helical gear based on Pro/E

we find that important issues of tooth profile curve and optional modeling still remain unsolved

which causes the problem that the automatic parametric design of involute helical gears can not be fully realized.With regard to the key questions
