Aiming at the problems of low calculation accuracy and efficiency presenting in the selection of change gears of traditional spiral bevel gear milling machine
the demands of change gear selection are analyzed
and the optimal algorithm of selecting change gear is studied based on gear milling principle.An intelligent software of selecting change gear is developed based on VC++6.0.Both calculation accuracy and calculation efficiency of the software are higher than the traditional calculation.The method can also be suited for gear hobbing machine and other machines which require to calculate the accurate transmission ratio of change gear.
