Aiming at thermal deformation caused by the heat load in cotton picker bevel gearbox
the thermal characteristic analysis of box structure is carried out by using the method of finite element thermal-structural coupled analysis.The steady-state temperature field distribution in gearbox is given out.And then
the analysis result is acted as boundary conditions of thermal-structural coupled analysis
the coupled analysis model is established.The stress distribution and displacement cloud picture about box in the joint action of thermal-structural load is calculated.The results show that deformation of box is commonly affected by structural load and thermal load.The thermal load is an important factor which can not be ignored to assure driving accuracy and reliability for heavy-duty gear.
