High-speed dry hobbing is a high efficiency green technology in gear manufacturing developed in recent years
which has overcome the disadvantage of traditional gear machining including low productive efficiency
high productive costs
polluting environment and being hurtful to worker health etc.Based on the principium of metal cutting
heat transfer and gear hobbing
the cutting temperature model of high-speed dry hobbing is built.By using finite element analysis(FEA)
the cutting temperature field of hobbing is analyzed.Through high-speed dry flying cutter cutting simulating the hobbing experiment and combing theoretical simulation and experiment result
the varying relation of cutting temperature and cutting parameter in high-speed dry hobbing is synthetically analyzed.
