Due to the limitation of demanding on original data at traditional reliability model
convex set model is adopted to describe the uncertain parameters of reliability analysis on machine tool spindle.Then the impact of these uncertain parameters on reliability analysis on machine tool spindle response based on convex set model is discussed quantitatively by using first order Taylor series expansion
and the non-probabilistic reliability measurement index of machine tool spindle is presented.This method avoids seeking probability density function
with a lower requirement on the original data and simply to compute.Through computation and analysis of engineering case study
the feasibility of this analysis method in practical engineering is proved.
