Model of super tooth cylindrical milling cutter was set up and the cutting motion was simulated by Pro/E. The simulation was compared with theoretical analysis of the cutter’s milling process and was testified rightly. The model was switched to ANSYS for modal analysis so as to identify the natural frequency and vibration features

which provided foundation for futher structure and dynamics analysis.
