Because Stiffness excitation and meshing impact caused by elastic deformation of the teeth is mainly one of the dynamic excitation of the gear meshing during gear transmission
how to determine the elastic deformation of gear is one of the important tasks of gear dynamics.However
the elastic deformation of teeth and the mashing process is complicated
it is difficult to calculate the elastic deformation of teeth during the meshing process.In this paper
finite element method is used to calculate elastic deformation of gears which has different number of teeth
load
load position and fillet radius
and finite element model will be refined several times to verify the convergence of the results
the results show that analysis results are convergence.The calculated dates are compared with the measured values to prove that the finite element is accurate.Six main parameters which affect the elastic deformation of external gear are ascertained based on the detailed analysis and the calculation results.The relevant laws are found by fitting the curve between those parameters and the deformation.
