In order to meet the requirement of long-distance constant proportion transmission

while analyzing the characters of the sleeve roller chain

such as too many driving components

non-constant transmission ratio.We put forward a kind of simple constant proportion actuating mechanism

driving of pearl rope

which is constructed by rope and steel ball.The working principle

design and dynamic analysis of the mechanism are studied

and a prototype is made

and a preliminary test is also conducted herein.The results show that this mechanism has many advantages

for example simple structure

constant transmission ratio

energy and material saving

low cost and so on.
