Through taking the cracking samples of air cooling after carburizing in 22CrMnMo steel parts
the morphology and features of cracks are anlyzed and that the air cooling after carburizing is the cause of forming cracks in the heat treatment process is coneluded.The further study of the mechanism indicates that 22CrMnMo steel parts of air cooling after carburizing forms different structures from surface to core and the method of improving carburizing cooling process is put forward
which provides help for manufacturing enterprises to solve quality problems of products.
