In order to decrease precision forming force of helical gear
at the base of analyzing closed-die forming and the theory of divided flow
a method of precision forming process for helical gear is developed
which is two direction control upsetting-extrusion.The FEM simulation software—deform-3D is used to simulate the forming process in detail.The results show that
compared with closed-die forming
the forming force is decreased evidently by this method which is an effective forming process for helical gear.
