Based on the geometrical design of a new invented gear system called quadruple-arc gear

an overall analysis of meshing properties is presented.The following is given（1） axial distance of four simultaneous meshing points of quadruple-arc gear;（2） mesh factor;（3） general formulation of the mesh factor;（4） algorithm of proper tooth width;（5） a table for the calculation of the above information.This work is definitely useful to application of the new gear design.
