Abstract

The strength of large module gear-rack is very important for the reliability of the ocean platform. The rules of how the main geometric parameters have influence on the strength of the pinion are analyzed according to the calculation methods in the GB/T 3480 standard. At last

the approaches to enhance the strength of large module gear-rack are brought forward.
