The conventional design method of chain transmission is a selective design based on the criterion that chain transmission has the enough fatigue life.However
the design parameters of transmission are random variables and obey the normal distribution rule approximately
it is difficult to achieve optimization design results.The related parameters of transmission design are processed as random variables.Reliability of enough fatigue life of chain transmission and the small chain wheel teeth
the chain pitch
the center distance
speed of chain and so on are taken as the conditional restraints.Mathematical model of optimization design is established according to related reliability design theory and optimization design theory.Optimization design of chain transmission system is carried out by using the MATLAB optimal toolbox
and the most superior transmission project is obtained.
