Taking coaxial power shift gearbox of construction machinery as research object
the layout topology of gearbox is analyzed.Using planar multi-bar mechanism to express its topological characteristics
its topology map is painted.Based on this topology map
an optimized mathematical model of gears layout is established
the smallest end-face area is the objective function.An example is given at last.Genetic algorithms were used to solve this optimization example.Optimization calculation results show that the methods can effectively reduce the end-face area of transmission box.
