has been applied. The theory and implementation procedure of a gear-grating testing method has been expounded specifically. The modularized design of the circuit has been applied to the down-machine and the double-thread implement system has been adopted to the up-machine. The USB communication has been adopted to implement the data transmission between down machine and up machine. The simulated test of the new method has been carried out
and the result proves the correctness and feasibility of the new method. This method covers the shortage of the present tensional vibration testing method of the traction machine. Furthermore
