Abstract

The procedure of the establishment of the tooth flank equation of dual-cone enveloped hourglass worm was briefly introduced

and the tooth profile calculation method was derived in detail.The concepts of the tooth thickness coefficient and the target profile were introduced and the four-pane optimization was used to scan the independent variables and to obtain two dependent variables.
