In traditional twist-roller frictional driving mechanism the dimensional precision of shaft and twist-roller is too high
and the contact force between the shaft and the twist-roller is tend to too great or too little
to resolve these problems
a new style twist-roller frictional structure was designed
in the designed structure the contact force between the shaft and the roller is adjustable.The lead of the new mechanism and conditions which is essential for correct driving were analyzed
the character of the contact force and the relationship between the contact force and adjust measure were studied
and moreover
the 1D ultra-precision worktable based on twist-roller driving mechanism was introduced.
