针对轴承圆柱滚子修形曲线的设计需求,提出一种基于多圆弧拟合理想对数曲线的设计方法。
方法

首先,以2段圆弧与理想对数曲线函数差的平方和最小为目标,采用牛顿迭代法对其结构参数进行无约束优化;其次,在2段圆弧间构建相切圆弧,以该圆弧与理想对数曲线函数差的平方和最小为目标,结合2切点位于滚子有效长度内的约束,构建惩罚项,将有约束优化转化为无约束优化,通过贪心算法优化相切圆弧参数;最后,对3种不同尺寸的滚子进行拟合验证,并采用有限长线接触算法计算接触应力。
结果

结果表明,由该方法获得的拟合曲线与理想对数曲线逼近度高,且圆弧交点处函数连续;滚子受载后接触应力分布接近理想状态。尽管交点处因曲率不连续存在轻微应力阶跃,但最大接触应力出现的位置仍在滚子中部,验证了该设计方法的合理性。

To satisfy the design requirements for the crowned profile of cylindrical roller bearings
a design method based on multi-circular-arc fitting of the ideal logarithmic curve was proposed.
Methods

Firstly
taking the minimum sum of squared deviations between two circular arcs and the ideal logarithmic curve as the optimization objective
the Newton iteration method was adopted to perform unconstrained optimization of structural parameters. Secondly
a transitional tangent arc was arranged between the two arcs. With the minimum sum of squared deviations between the tangent arc and the ideal logarithmic curve set as the objective
penalty functions were introduced according to the constraint that two tangent points fall within the effective length of the roller to convert constrained optimization into unconstrained optimization
and the greedy algorithm was used to optimize parameters of the transitional tangent arc. Finally
fitting verification was carried out on rollers with three different dimensions
and thecontact stress was calculated using finite-length line contact algorithm.
Results

The results indicate that the fitted curve obtained by the proposed method achieves high approximation to the ideal logarithmic curve with continuous function values at arc intersection points. The contact stress distribution of loaded rollers is close to the ideal condition. Although slight stress jumps occur at intersections due to discontinuous curvature
the maximum contact stress still appears near the roller midsection
which verifies the validity of the presented design method.
