To study the power performance of electric vehicle with permanent magnet synchronous motor( PMSM),the integrated control algorithm based on the space vector and sliding mode variable structure is proposed. The vehicle parameter matching,PMSM selection,space vector modeling and the design of sliding mode variable structure controller are introduced in detailed. Then the model of PMSM electric vehicle is built and simulated under NEDC cycle. The simulation results show that the design of transmission ratio and the PMSM power parameter are reasonable,the power performance of PMSM electric vehicle obtained by the integrated control method with space vector and sliding mode variable structure is good,which has good rationality and stronger real- time performance and doesn’t affect the vehicle comfort.
