Aiming at the complexity of the dynamics characteristic of launch working condition and the vehicle itself,a robust adaptive fuzzy neural controller is designed for the slip- friction phase of launch performance of vehicle with dual clutch transmission( DCT). In the control system framework of dual clutch automatic transmission,the designed controller is middle layer controller. By tracking the target engine speed and the vehicle target launch velocity deduced by the target impact degree,the target torque of engine and the target transmit torque of clutch are obtained. The simulation result on the Matlab / Simulink platform shows that RAFNC for launch has a better tracking effect when compared with PID controller.
